WORKSHOP: Not Enough. Why Perfectionism Can Be Bad for You, and What to Do about It
You have experienced perfectionism if you have ever felt the nagging feeling that what you do or have – or who you are – is not enough. A small dose of this feeling is not necessarily a problem. It can actually be a good thing, a form of healthy striving, which can push us to achieve new goals and to grow. But when out of control, the feeling of “not-enough-ness” prevents us from doing things that could be interesting and important. Too much perfectionism does not allow us to enjoy life and be ourselves. In this session, you will learn where perfectionism comes from, share stories about our struggles with “not-enough-ness”, and discuss how you can dream big while savoring the journey.
