My Privacy Policy

If you want me to be your editor, you will need to send me your manuscript (see How I Will Help You). I will use your email address and your phone number to communicate with you. You may share with me the name of your company aka your affiliation. But... most probably, you do not know me well (yet). It is possible that you feel concerned. What if I steal your ideas? My privacy policy is here to protect you. Any information I collect about you or your work is intended to support clear communication between us. It also helps me do my job, that is - to improve your manuscript. I will never sell your information or use your ideas for profit. I will also never disclose - without your express written permission - any information about you, your company or affiliation, your contact information, or any work you entrust to me. For example, I may ask you for a testimonial about my services. In case you provide a quote, I will add your real name to it only if you give me permission to do so.

I do all of this without entering whole sentences or longer excerpts into an AI system.
For example, I might encounter the following sentence in a text I’m editing: “Any information I collect about you or your work is intended to support clear communication between us.” (This sentence is taken from this very page.) If I have concerns about this sentence, I might ask AI the following:
