My Poetry

VIDEO POEMS (English and Russian)
POEMS IN RUSSIAN (texts only)

I wrote most of my Russian poems between the ages of 19 and 25 (approximately; I never put dates on my poems). These poems were often about love and loneliness, but also about magical mysteries of life. They were my attempts to understand myself and the world. Since then, I translated some of those Russian poems into English, and I am planning to translate more over time.

For many years, I did not create any poetry--until 2021. Then, after writing two more poems in Russian, I realized that it became easier for me to write poems in English. I do not write as many poems as I did when I was younger. But now I turn them into videos! To create videos, I use my new poems (in English), but also some older ones (in Russian, which I translate). You can find my poem videos, or video poems, here.

[Note: I do not use AI to write my poems.]

I use AI tools as a kind of writing partner—to shape drafts, clarify arguments, and explore phrasing. But the ideas, perspectives, and direction are always my own. Every piece here is part of an evolving personal project. For more details about my use of AI, see here.
